PADRE reports? [Jun. 4th, 2010|02:54 pm]
University of Victoria

I know that Uvic stopped using PADRE reports, but how do we access the new equivalent? I want to check and make sure I have all of my credits in place before I apply to graduate. I can't find information about this anywhere on the Uvic website and I can't find it in usource either. So does anyone know?

Is anyone else in Bio 190a this summer? I'm assuming that labs start on Wednesday and not tomorrow, but I can't seem to find any info on the web & I haven't picked up my lab manual yet. Thoughts?

can you register for a summer class if you're scheduled to convocate? or will it mess with your convocation and set you back a bit?

oh, the purpose of the class? just the ol' bus pass trick.

Missing Summer Classes [Apr. 14th, 2010|09:17 pm]
University of Victoria

I feel so awkward asking this. I was a bit of an idiot...

So I um thought all my first term summer classes started on May 10, but it turns out some of them start on May 3. I only found this out today... after a vacation lasting till May 7 has already been planned and booked.

I will miss the first week of three of my May-July classes, basically. So two lectures for two of them, and one lecture for the third.questionsCollapse )

probably a bit silly, but... [Apr. 7th, 2010|12:56 am]
University of Victoria

I have a pal who's moving into res just for the month of May.

All I was wondering is, is it pretty empty around campus/res then, or is it still pretty full up, or what's the general atmosphere? If that makes sense?

is there anyone out there who has a spare pair of tickets to the uvic grad party? -signed, a graduating student who apparently missed hearing about it until way too late and is possibly doomed to miss his own grad party. (cross-posted to victoria_bc)

BWEOOOM. *the sound of all the power/lights going off at once* [Mar. 5th, 2010|09:13 pm]
University of Victoria

Hey guys,

Just a reminder about the campus-wise power outage on Sunday...

and also wondering if you think they secretly meant to put "also the FIA building will be fine, so those of you who don't have x y and z programs on your laptops can still finish your project before Monday at noon," because that would be swell.

Anywhere else you think I could use programs like InDesign/Photoshop around campus or elsewhere? Work sort of gets in the way of spending tomorrow in the lab...

Have a good night~
